When you are searching through the internet, you see man websites out there. Most of the time you see many products that people are advertising. Some are products that can help you improve with what you need help on. Now you wonder what those people that make these webpage get for doing this. Do they get the full amount of the product that they sell or do they just get part of it? You wonder how much they make a year. Guess what? Most of them are promoting an affiliate product. They are most of the time in an affiliate program that they joined.

This is how they do it. They fist find an affiliate program that is out there. Most of the time people that create the products and send it out there for people to see if that are the product that they want to market. Well most of the time you do not have to go looking for the product because there is a program out there that holds all the products and the affiliate links. When you join their website, you will have a user name. Meaning you have to sign up an account with them. Whenever you make a sale with your affiliate link that contains your username, you will be given part of the sell. First you will pick out a product from the site, and then you will be told to give them the username when you find the product they you want to promote. They will generate an affiliate link for you and you will be all set for that product.

You have to start generating traffic to that affiliate link some way or another. When you start building traffic is sure to get your own site. Your own personal site is better than an affiliate link because it is easier to remember a person link than an affiliate. When you generate a sale as I said before, you will be getting part of the sale. The sale is the percentage you will get from the total amount. Most of the time the site where you got your affiliate link at should show the percentage you would get from the sale. Be sure to get the highest percentage ones because the low percentage ones won't get you anywhere.

Whenever you generate a sale, the affiliate website they you joined as a member will record what you have sold. After two weeks, some maybe one month, you will get your check in the mail. If you see your affiliate product that you are promoting is not generating any sales or low sales that you can't even cover your own expenses, stop promoting that product. Go find a new product that works.

Before you stop your product and change to another one, did you promote your product with the amount of quality traffic going to your site? If not, it is not the product problem, it is you. You should have a quality of traffic going to your site every day. If you do have that quality of traffic, then go change to another product and test it out again. When that product starts to generate sales, go find another product and start doing that again. Keep building your product and you will be generating an income that you can't believe.
