Well, first I have to tell you what do MLM stands for. MLM stands for Multi level marketing. Most of the time when you are in there kind of marketing business you are selling your goods by direct sales. Most of the time you will be recruiting people so that you would have a down line that will be helping you generate sales. You will totally generate a percentage of what they have sold. This is what you call commission. It is almost like selling a car and you get commission when you sell one. You sell more, you earn more. But for MLM, if you sell more and recruit more people in your down line, you make more than selling the products yourself.

Most of the time when you are in a MLM program, you should teach your down line on how to market their business. Teaching and helping your down line is the way to build up your business because the more you teach them the bigger your down line gets. This means the commission you will get by the end of the month will be huge. For people who are in these programs that are not helping their down lines, they are not generating any commission or anyone that will join their group. Why is this happening? This is happening because the down line this person has does not know what to do. You ask me if this person is doing this business wrong. I can tell you the answer is yes. Without a down line, your business will not go anywhere.

Why are people going into MLM instead of franchise? This is because a franchise cost a whole lot. Most of the people out there cannot afford that kind of money to open a franchise. If there is a franchise that everyone can afford, everyone would like to own one. But for businesses on the internet where you can work from home, it cost less and it is something that everyone can afford out of their own pocket. There is no need to borrow from the bank. However, opening a franchise might be something that you would want to borrow from the bank if you do not have the cash.

Building a successful business online needs a mentor that can help you around obstacles. If there is someone that can help you out from time to time, you are in a business that is set for success. There are many programs out there that are without help. You have to figure out all the technical stuff and everything else in the business. There is no one that can help you. However, when you figured out everything, you are the next successful person because you will be helping your own down line. When that happens, you will be generating sales and commission.
