Next, do not think that you can make money if you see other business website successful and making money. You have to see if your business if making money, not just by putting a website up and you see visitors going to your site. There won't be people going to your site if you do not do anything. It is almost like an offline business, if you don't advertise, will people go knocking the front of your door? No they won't. Online business is the same, the website you created is out there but there is no advertising. No one will come to your website.

There are many things out there that can help promote your business. Like writing articles, replying to forums, linking. Those are good activities but there are some activities that you should not do. You can harm you business if you submit to search engines a lot. The way not to harm your business is to let the search engines find you themselves.

Do not join a lot of different kind of free businesses. This will cause harm to your business because you are focusing on all different kind of direction. Try to focus on one business instead of all different kinds. Putting 100% in one business is better than dividing up the 100% into different businesses. If you have two businesses you are dividing your focus up and that equals 50%. You know what that means.

Do not spend a lot on advertising. You have to keep track of advertising expenses. Do not go full out on advertising if you do not know much about. Always test out the advertising company you are advertising at. Do not put all your advertising expense into one place. Try to spread it out into different advertising methods. When you are done testing and it works, then place more. If it doesn't work, go find another way to advertise or advertise someplace else.
